The author S. Maria Viswasam, often known as Mr. Visu, is from Cuddalore, Tamilnadu, India. He had nearly spent 3 decades teaching village kids at the primary level and  also has been  an English tutor since 1988.He was born into a catholic family having been baptised as a Christian in the year 1961.As a young boy his dream was to become a catholic priest and the very idea was perhaps being nurtured by both his maternal grandma and the local nuns in his small village school. It wasn’t that easy to get an entry into a catholic seminary because of his poor mark in English. It was one of the six subjects in the state board public exam conducted in the year 1977.He had almost spent a decade in a catholic seminary pursuing his childhood dream. But later years, to the displeasure of many his family members and friends, he made his conscious decision to quit the seminary for the reasons of his own.
