Biomass is a popular fuel in many nations, particularly in underdeveloped countries for cooking and warmth. Many industrialized nations are boosting their use of biomass fuels for transportation and electricity generation as a way to reduce carbon dioxide emissions from fossil fuel consumption. Biomass power is carbon-neutral energy produced from renewable organic waste that would otherwise be disposed of in landfills, burnt publicly, or used as forest fire fuel. The energy in biomass is released as heat when it is burnt. Biomass is a sustainable energy source made from the combustion of wood, plants, and other organic materials such as manure or garbage. When burnt, it produces carbon dioxide (CO2), although at a far lower rate than fossil fuels. These biomass subsidies waste resources that may be better spent on less expensive and more environmentally friendly solar and wind energy alternatives, as well as the employment they create. This book gives brief explanation on Biomass Power generation and use in domestic and commercial use to avoid cost and renewable recycle use of biomasses. This book highlights on the Energy from Biomass, Biomass as Renewable Energy Source, Types of Biomass Fuels - Solid, Liquid and Gas, Combustion and Fermentation, Anaerobic Digestion, Types of Biogas Digester, Wood Gassifier, Pyrolysis and Applications: Bio Gas, Bio Diesel.

    Very well written book.

I liked this book. People who are interested in natural resources as well as Renewable Energy Source will most probably be interested in reading this book. This book was very well written.

My favorited part is that the Biogas Digester and learned advantage of Biogas. I also liked that I read this book because it gave me a chance to learn new concept of Energy from Biomass
